EEG Neurofeedback for Depression and Anxiety

I came to Dr Kaur in early July having suffered for some years with various symptoms - depression, organisation of my life, lack of self esteem and self worth, unable to relax and be myself, laugh and not be self conscious. I work away for periods of up to four to five weeks at a time and am normally okay during these times, as I am focussed and have to get on and do things that my career as a diver entails.

My problem is when I am at home for periods of sometimes two months the symptoms appear and for years I wandered round in a fog - indecisive, depressed, down, unwanted, lonely etc. For example I could take twenty minutes to decide in which order I should have a coffee, a shower, read the paper, get dressed and have breakfast in the mornings. There was no direction. If I had an appointment at 10am I was fine, if not I would still be wondering if I should have another tea or coffee. I could make going to the bank, paying bills and buying a paper last two hours and friends would call it - Adam doing his bits and bobs.

I now feel much happier, calmer and more relaxed. More focussed, better self esteem and self worth. My direction and focus has vastly improved and I have also started exercising again and lost half a stone in weight. I feel that all this has come about from my sessions with Dr Kaur and Neurofeedback. The brain controls everything we do and are, consciously or sub-consciously and I am now learning to be able to steer it in the right direction and not let the self talk take over, just do it and hey presto my brain clicks in and does it. My 'blue' periods are far fewer, less dramatic and long lasting and I can pull myself out much quicker. I need more but am very pleased with the results and I am confident enough to talk about it and others have noticed a change in me.

This is after an eight week break due to work and one session in the last two weeks while I have been at home. I am now having two sessions a week to keep improvement and tackle specific different areas.
